Top dobiegł końca. Mimo mocnej konkurencji to tak naprawdę krótko zastanawiałem się czym zakończyć pięćdziesięciodniowy maraton najważniejszych dla mnie nagrań The National. Pomyślałem że po co wybierać na zwycięzcę melancholijną balladę skoro można jednocześnie i pokiwać rytmicznie głową i poczuć emocje wypływające z serca. To wszystko daje "Mr. November".
Zespół poświęcił utwór konkretnej sprawie - ubieganiu się Johna Kerry'ego o urząd prezydenta USA w 2004 roku. W lipcu 2008 roku wyprodukowano t-shirt z wizerunkiem Baracka Obamy i wiele mówiącym tytułem kompozycji.

Serdecznie dziękuję za wszelkie uwagi, za zaglądanie na ten top (wciąż zwiększająca się liczba odsłon o tym świadczyła) i za zainteresowanie się tym wyjątkowym zespołem. Z mojej strony dodam że stworzenie tego topu było osobistym przeżyciem dla mnie także z pozamuzycznych względów. Jestem pewien że naturalność Matta i kolegów znajduje przełożenie w każdym z Was!
