10. Muse - New Born (Origin of Symmetry)

Magiczny wręcz początek. Zawsze kojarzył mi się z Harrym Potterem. Po prostu cudo. Później rozwinięcie, które sprawia, że jest to jeden z najbardziej niezwykłych kawałków zespołu.

Dla mnie "Undisclosed Desires" to jeden z najciekawszych utworów Muse. Choć zupełnie różni się od pozostałych singli zespołu, ma w sobie coś przyciągającego.

Trafiłem, że będzie w top 10. Na razie passa ostatnich kawałków świetna. Same hity (co więc zostało na czubek?). Knights to chyba pierwszy utwór w historii DLP, który przekroczył 20 tyg. stażu....chyba. Nie mogę jednak wybaczyć tej szkarady na 14! Wstyd, Muse, wstyd!

Przyglądam się temu zestawieniu i dwa słowa wtrącę. Muse jest jednym z ważniejszych formacji rockowych przełomu wieków (195 milionów odsłuchań na last.fm to nie przypadek). Trzeba wspomnieć jednakowoż o tym, że niewiele jest grup wywołujących tak skrajne emocje. Bo zalety Muse, czyli sposób przekazywania emocji, sposób budowania kompozycji oraz pompatyczny i rozbudowany charakter wielu kompozycji łatwo można interpretować jako wadę. Przy całej, ogromnej sympatii do dokonań Brytyjczyków, trzeba jasno i konkretnie powiedzieć, że ich twórczość bywa przereklamowana i przeceniana. Jak na tak cenioną formacje muzyczną bywają zbyt często wtórni i powielają pomysły, niestety czasem balansując na krawędzi autoplagiatu. Skąd te 195 milionów, pada pytanie. Fantastyczne koncerty i wyborne przeboje. Czyli to co trzeba. Zostawiam single a płyty odstawiam do szuflady. moje top 10 (wygrywa w cuglach piosenka stworzona w okresie, gdy zapach zielonych był dla muzyków zagadnieniem akcydentalnym)

Oczywiście, jak większość świetnych kawałków Muse, nie podobał mi się na początku. Mniej więcej przy tym utworze zacząłem słuchać LP3. Pamiętam jak go nie lubiłem, a gdy wypadł - dostrzegłem w nim to COŚ. Niesamowita perkusja, bass, chórki i przede wszystkim gitary!

Jeżeli chodzi o "Uprising" - spodobał mi się od razu. Marszowy, rewolucyjny rytm, elektronika, gitary - jest w nim wszytko, za co lubię Muse.

Ten utwór zasługuje na to, by być na pierwszym miejscu topu. Ale są przed nim jeszcze dwa świetne utwory.
Mniej więcej tak wyglądał mój monolog: Nie no, może powinien być wyżej... -Nie, przecież są jeszcze x i y... -No tak... -Ale może jednak powinien być wyżej... -Ale...
Hysterię lubię za wszystko - za niesamowite riffy na początku i w środku utworu, za refren, za tekst. Właściwie chyba powinien być wyżej.
