^ Od czterech lat węgierska lista jest podsumowaniem sprzedaży fizycznej, digitali i mobilnej, czyli dostosowna do obecnych realiów. Jednak rynek jest niewielki, a oferta ograniczona i dlatego wiele tytułów odnotowuje tak długi czas w zestawieniu.
W tej sytuacji Akos, autor wielu platynowych i złotych płyt (12 z nich było #1 na liście albumów), z łatwością bije kolejne rekordy na #1 listy singli. Jego cztery dotychczasowe numery jeden spędziły łącznie 154 tyg. na szczycie!

Która jest ta bardziej oficjalna listą?
Czy masz może dojście do jakichkolwiek archiwów Eurochart z lat 90-tych?
A może masz je zapisane na dysku (była taka stronka gdzie były archiwa z lat 96-99 ale ją zamknęli...)

^ Nie mają iTunes. W dodatku właśnie upadł kolejny sklep z digitalami. Kiedyś do listy raportowały takie trzy, teraz został już tylko jeden.

Prawda jest taka, że twórcą tej listy jest... Polak. Tomasz Wichura aka thomas76eu z Suwałk/Southampton. Postanowił on kompilować top 200 piosenek i top 300 albumów, które nazwał European Mega Charts i zaczął je umieszczać na swoim blogu. I właśnie stamtąd trafiają w inne miejsca. Oczywiste jest, że są to zestawienia nieoficjalne.
Od autora: "I'm very proud to present new European charts. I called them Mega Charts because they are really big! The single chart is Top 200 and the album chart is Top 300. They are compiled from the national charts and I take into account the size of music market ( separetely for singles and albums ) and the size of population. I think I have quite good picture what is popular in Europe. And I hope I will have enough time and patience to keep it going on. The charts should be updated on every saturday."
2. Do raportów AOSC brane są pod uwagę wyłącznie oficjalne zestawienia singli.
W związku z likwidacją londyńskiego biura Billboardu, które m.in. przygotowywało listy European Hot 100 Singles i European Top 100 Albums, przestały one powstawać w połowie grudnia ub. roku. Jednak Billboard jako źródło zestawienia dla Europy nie zniknął z listy źródeł, która jest podana w każdym raporcie AOSC.
Od połowy grudnia pod uwagę brana jest lista Euro Digital Songs. Jest to zestawienie kompilowane przez Nielsen Soundscan International i publikowane przez Billboard w drukowanych wydaniach magazynu i online dla posiadająch subskrypcję. Lista jest podsumowaniem sprzedaży digitali i mobilnej na 19 europejskich rynkach.
Wyniki sprzedaży dla #1 w kilku poprzednich tygodniach:
